Deposit for Selected Headliner Repair Appointments
The Non Refundable Fee will come off the total for the booking, eg: If total is $1000, with -500 deposit, then 500 is left remaining to be paid on the day or at completion. Most of our usual bookings don’t require a deposit, this listing is more for selected rare jobs that would incur a loss on our end if customer was to not show up for booking.
The Deposit is designed go towards either:
- The service selected during making the scheduled appointment.
- Mobile Service option thats at some distance for us to travel with risk of customer not showing up/canceling on us during the long trip.
- Starlight Headliner Preparation.
- Custom embossing preparation.
Here is why deposit is needed: If we prepare a custom embossed headliner board ahead of time with one of our spare exchange boards, then we would have to complete the install/exchange on the exact date/time organised in order to retrieve another blank board back to offer the next customer/booking a fast refurbished board exchange, and having a custom board sitting on our shelf costs us money to get rid of, dismantle, re advertise, etc. That next booking can come as fast as several hours after the scheduled appointment so we need no delays.
We usually run at 4-8 standard jobs daily during busy times of the year. In order to take on a custom job for example: Starlight Headliner Preparation and install, theres an opportunity cost of saying no to other jobs for that duration so we can focus on the custom nature of that job. If the starlight customer cancels, it can leave us at a loss for that day.
So for us to keep a window free in our time to take on a custom job, eg: Starlight install, we need to increase customers skin in the game by FIRST having them pay a deposit to secure a 1 – 3 day turnaround time (or whatever is organised in person/phone). We then choose a date that suits the preference of both customer and business. We then invoice customer up and send a screenshot of the invoice via sms or email to customer showing whats paid and whats remaining. By paying this $500, you are agreeing to this being a non refundable deposit (if cancelling/rescheduling within 3 business days prior to the actual planned day).
If needing to cancel the booking, Please reschedule / cancel by Phone call followed by SMS confirmation to Reece 72 hours (3 business days) prior to your appointment arrival time.
