Through my very own personal experience my intention is to help the anxious bring more fulfilment into their lives by sharing the techniques I used to assist in acceptance and letting go. The day we are not triggered, is the day we are free, so the goal isn't to get rid of the unwanted sensations and thoughts, but to be in harmony with them and to not be run and triggered by them, so we can predominately live a life out of love instead of fear.
It's still a working progress with me, however, I just may be a chapter ahead in my Mental Health recovery, and this may allow me to shed light on obstacles in your life and help you find alternative ways of getting through and handling them.
Here is Reece's Anxiety story briefly explained to keep it short:
HISTORY: I've experienced panic, health anxiety & general anxiety sensations/thoughts quite often during my life, escalated back around 2009 at my stressful old work place whilst employed as an upholsterer at a fast paced production factory. During this time I experienced increased general anxiety, depression & health anxiety. I had repeated exposure to its symptoms and uncomfortable sensations for years including jaw and neck tension, social anxiety, heightened nervousness and anxiousness. These left me with uncomfortable symptoms such as going red in the face, heart palpitations, fear and tight shallow breathing etc. With the increased sick days taken, I decided to take a step away from employment at the time in order to focus on my health. In that spare time is when I began self employment within the car niche of motor trimming. During further trade school study, I decided to run with car headliners. Reece's Auto Headlining Repairs was born.
I was so happy to drop out of the stressful factory production work I was in, I had this strong sense of certainty in myself and confidence that I could make it in self employment. Initially my goal wasn't to make a ton of money and build a massive business, my goal was to do what I love, get out in the sun/fresh air, have the freedom to choose my own hours and support myself. If I could accomplish all these things at the time, then this was a win for me. The regular cash flow from self employment helped to fund my mental health journey and recovery. I gathered a lot of information along the way, that may be resourceful to others to help their mental health journey, so I invite you to check this content out for yourself or even to help your friends and family.
PRESENT: The latest update & upload for this eBook is (OCT 2024). I regularly use the techniques covered in this eBook daily when required, as I am highly aware that our state/mental health and energy can impact our journey through life, hold us back in going for what we want. It's tailored around an internal approach as We really don't need to learn more, sometimes its about unlearning negative habits/programming/fears/associations/perspectives and paradigms.
The exercises explained in this eBook just need repetition and reinforcement to really yield lasting change, just the same as a footballer/basketball-err will need to train the same movements over and over again to become good, same goes with cognitive behaviour therapy. A lot of this eBook ANXIETY WISDOM content is tailored around Letting go of the RESISTANCE to the FEELING, in other words the fear with sitting with the FEELING of discomfort. Fears come down to this, are you willing to sit with something (A FEELING) that might not be comfortable? Also the eBook is full of content that sparks Motivation/Inspiration/Ideas towards achieving goals/Successes in the big pillars of life eg: Health, wealth, Love & Fulfilment/Happiness.
