HOLDEN VF COMMODORE (LIGHT GREY) ROOF LINING COLOUR

Above photos is us using our #9 mid grey flat knit fabric on the VF Ute. Which we find to be the closest match for the VF Holdens.

Our #7 light grey cappuccino flat knit fabric is a good perfect match to the earlier model VE WM models where the factory finish is a light grey/beige appearance, however the VF commodore slightly has a different look, and that is what this post is focused around explaining.

The Holden VF roof colour has a slightly darker ‘light grey’ headliner than its previous VE models, so our #7 light grey that we suggest to use will usually slightly appear one shade lighter than the factory pillars/plastics on the VF commodore. Still looks great!! and not wrong selection, just worth mentioning that theres an additional option, which is to use the #9 mid grey.

#5 Anthracite is the same across all models when it comes to the charcoal black headliners, the only difference we notice with VE VF is in the light grey finish.

The picture below shows on the left a VF wagon removed from the car, and on the right our #7 light grey finish on the wagon ready for the exchange. Our fabric has a slightly lighter finish.

The picture below shows the standard factory fabric on the sun-visor and pillar up against the new headliner material, being the #7 light grey finish.

The pictures below show the VF wagon factory plastics and pillars up against our #7 light grey fabric headliner installed. Different shades of light capture different effects, so we tried to include all angles in the following pictures.

Below is example of the #9 mid grey flat knit being used on a WN, which is same fabric seen on VF Holdens. So in these examples the sun visors, sunroof and pillars are all left untouched, with the factory fabric remaining, as we only did the headliner. Makes for a perfect example of the contrast/colour match if we were to use #9 mid grey on VF/WN Holdens.

The picture below shows a list of our fabric stock. #9 mid grey is an option for a darker grey appearance, but would be one stage on the darker side, let us know if you’d prefer a certain style during booking, otherwise our decision is either using #7 or #9 as our recommended closer match to the VF Holden Commodore, as it still complements the interior even if being one shade lighter or darker than the pillars, sun-visors and plastics.
